ABOUT ME

I have been in the hairdressing industry for around 20 years now. I kind of fell into hairdressing when I got my first job at 14 as a Saturday girl. I initially thought hairdressing was just a way to earn some extra money on the weekends while I was at school but I grew to be obsessed with all things hair.

Throughout my career I have experienced so many aspects of the hairdressing world! It has taken me to different countries, TV sets and different roles such as teaching and training.

I took the plunge in 2018 to go self-employed after feeling like I needed a change. I rented chairs and then decided to open Dirty Blonde. My first salon was literally the size of a garage and had no room for anything except two hairdressing sections and a basin (no microwave to my disappointment).

Dirty Blonde has recently grown so much over the last year! We now have a larger premises in Southampton City Centre with an amazing team! You can now get your hair, nails/pedicure, lash lifts/individual lash extensions, brows, semi permanent makeup, permanent jewellery, massage and aesthetics.

I have tried to think of everything I possibly can to make my clients feel welcome and relaxed in our new space. All those added extras that make a difference!

I love interior design so having the freedom to design a new space has been an amazing experience! We’re constantly making changes from your feedback and we love to take your ideas onboard! so thank you!
